So we made a little surf film. Though the word “film” here is used broadly. “Somewhere” is a short surf video or “edit.” The title”Somewhere” is an insidery shorthand code word for cherished, undisclosed surf spots.
“Somewhere” is a hot and savory compilation of slow-motion surfing footage from this past winter and spring in Southern California. Our very own Van Corsa directed and edited the video. Director of photography Frank Profera filmed it. The video has an original soundtrack scored by Aloha Death with songs by them, Frozen Machines, and AV Kenobi.
