Dubbed the “post-modern playground slide” in the park across the street from my in-laws’ home near Roppongi in Tokyo. The slide is actually a public artwork by artist Masashi Takasuka titled “Sanjin: The God of the Mountain” (“Yama no Kami-sama”) and functional, used daily by neighborhood kids along with a nearby swing-set and jungle-gym by the same artist.
