Worldwide fast-food restaurant chain Burger King has revamped its brand identity, including its iconic burger logotype, color palette, typography and icons. The change is a big deal for such a large and recognizable brand. It’s the first change to BK’s branding in over twenty years. The new branding was designed by award-winning design group Jones Knowles Ritchie. A cleverly designed monogram-version of the BK logo (dubbed “The Slider”– see below) was created by Stephen Kelleher Studio, a Brooklyn-based design firm. The monogram is a hamburger icon formed by the letters “B” and”K.” The magazine Print provides a comprehensive breakdown of BK’s new branding, look and feel, and style.
