THE HAPPIEST FASHIONABLE PLACE ON EARTH : FRENCH “TECHNO CHIC” CLOTHING BRAND COPERNI STAGES FASHION SHOW AT DISNEYLAND PARIS!

Disneyland has called itself the “happiest place on Earth” for decades, and now it may also be the most fashionable. Or, at least, Disneyland Paris, is.

Disney’s European outpost in France just served as the venue for an epic fashion show by a visionary French clothing brand on the bleeding edge of style.

Paris-based fashion label Coperni has only been around for six years, but in that brief time they’ve managed to electrify the fashion world and public imagination in a way seldom witnessed before with innovative use of new technologies in their products and bold, cleverly staged fashion shows like their recent one at Disneyland Paris as part of the bi-annual Paris Fashion Week. Watch the full video of their show below.

The 15-minute production closed with mega-influencer and model Kylie Jenner walking out in a stunning formal black evening gown with Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle as a backdrop bathed in pink and purple lights.

Coperni’s aesthetic has been called “techno chic.” At their 2022 show in Paris, they made headlines when they sprayed on a material that forms an actual, wearable dress onto the model Bella Hadid live, in real-time.

The dress was made using a technology developed at M.I.T.’s Self-Assembly Lab called called Rapid Liquid Printing or R.L.P.

In 2024, Coperni unveiled a version of their “Swipe” handbag comprised of 99% air made with a similar technology and a material used by NASA called “Aerogel.”

Their fashion shows always seem to offer an unprecedented surprise. Last year, they unleashed a pack of Boston Dynamics robotic dogs to roam alongside the models as they strutted down the catwalk.

The show at Disneyland Paris marks a collaboration between the two brands and it will be interesting to see how this relationship plays out.
