Driving around a major U.S. city long enough and you’re bound to see unused billboards that have been hijacked with graffiti art. The one pictured here is in Los Angeles has been tagged by “SICKID” and a simple drawing of a person’s face next to the phrase “Jesus with you.” It stands alongside the Hollywood stretch of the infamously congested 101 / Ventura freeway. SICKID is a great tag, presumably a mash-up of the words “sick and “kid.” The Jesus message is ironic reference reminiscent of the “Jesus Saves” messages one sees on signs and stickers around L.A.
