Walking late tonight on the last stretch of a bar crawl through Amsterdam, we stumbled upon the Apple Store near Leidesplein in the heart of the city’s canal district. Like all of Apple’s retail spaces, it’s a sleek, minimalist experience. And like a few of the brand’s locations, the store has a translucent, glass-like staircase. Here the stairs are spiral and occupy a large high-ceilinged showroom with large windows in an historic Amsterdam building.
