New York City street art: The folks at the Eleven vintage clothing shop in Nolita have a wall space devoted to original street art work. The wall is updated with fresh art every two or three months. Presented in this series of posts is fresh street art that went up on the wall in the past week. This work references Claudette Colvin, an important African-Amercian activist in the U.S. civil rights movement of the previous century. Eleven is at the northeast corner of Prince Street and Elizabeth Street. The art is on the wall running along Elizabeth.
