Taylor Swift is a pop-music mega-star with an audience on a scale of which the world has seldom seen. Her current “Eras” world concert tour has been both a huge success and critically acclaimed and is set to make over $1 billion. So it’s only fitting that she be the subject of some inspired street art, right?
Swift herself has shown she’s a fan of street art and has recently been seen taking selfies in front of one of those iconic butterfly-wings murals by the artist Kelsey Montague. But examples of her depicted in street art in the real world are relatively few for somebody of her incredible supernova profile.
And often street art murals of famous musicians or Hollywood celebrities are created posthumously, as tribute to a legendary talent since passed away. Needless to say, such tributes are a long way away for Taylor. She is young and still has a long career ahead of her.
But an “Anonymous” artist has recently explored what Taylor Swift street art might look like around the world using generative A.I. tools to create fake murals of her. The results are pretty damn good. See the “photos” above and below.
Though if you look really closely at the images, you start to notice some of the subtle tell-tale signs that these are virtual. They have that certain A.I.-created “uncanny valley” vibe.
Still ,we look forward to Anonymous or somebody actually creating a real-life version of one of these murals in a major city. The “Swifties” will flock to them for selfies without a doubt.
