Style … Our Favorite Old Acne T-Shirt

Eventually every favorite old shirt reaches a point of wear and tear that signals it’s time to throw it out. Such was this case this past week with this light pink “Pop Classics” t-shirt by Swedish clothing brand Acne Studios, pictured below. We’re big fans of Acne’s clothing and we’re sad to see this shirt go as it was the most comfortable, well-fitting and perfectly designed t-shirt we’ve owned. Anna Wintour x Karl Lagerfeld Street Art Face-Off

20131209-133024.jpg

This new street art mural by artist Bradley Theodore just went up last week on the commissioned wall space at L’Asso in New York’s Lower East Side. The images show the colorful profiles of a skull-faced Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour literally facing off at legendary Chanel and Fendi fashion designer-photographer Karl Lagerfeld (she with the iconic bob haircut, he of the iconic white hair and ponytail). A heart symbol appears in the space between them. The images are simultaneously grotesque and playful.

Style … Susanita’s Vintage Red Gucci Bag

20130901-150200.jpg

This is the real deal: A vintage red, leather Gucci bag circa 1970s or ’80s that our friend (and overall New York style boss) Susanita was showing off for us at the weekend during brunch at Dudley’s in the Lower East Side. Super awesome.
