We love this large stencil street art image of a black puma in Amsterdam Centrum, along Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal street with lots of street art that connect Centraal Station to the Western Canals District.
Here’s a nice piece of photo-based stencil street art by the artist TONA in Amsterdam’s Centrum neighborhood. The artwork is wheat-pasted and shows a small, blonde child holding an aluminum can (perhaps a can of beer?)
We love this multi-layered stencil street art image of this DJ dude wearing a baseball cap in the area of Amsterdam’s Centrum near the trendy De Pijp neighborhhood. The artwork is on the side of a corner building on Fokke Simonzstraat street that’s home to the popular Boulangerie Mortier cafe and is a spot with lots of street art.
Last week we paid another visit to FOAM, the wonderful, influential photography museum in Amsterdam, where there is currently a major exhibition of photographs by Stephen Gill. Included in the show were several images from the British photographer’s “Covered or Removed” series, a collection of photos of urban spaces in the U.K. where graffiti has been scrubbed or painted over. Great stuff.
