We first saw this handwritten-styled, street-artsy graffiti message “I will miss you …” a couple of months ago next to the famous Deitch Wall art space at Bowery and Houston streets in NoHo, in downtown New York City. Our post of images of that graffiti on Global Graphica seemed to resonate with a lot of viewers given its myriad possible meanings, especially in NYC, a city where there is always a constant influx and outflux of people traveling and choosing to live in or leave the city. To our pleasant surprise “I will miss you …” just popped up again this past week on a massive, blank vertical billboard on Lafayette Street in the same downtown neighborhood. We love it. We will miss it.
