Serving It Up Cold on Crosby Street
We love this wheat-paste work by the Baltimore, Maryland-based artist Nether Bmore on Crosby Street in SoHo, in downtown Manhattan. The image is a perfect image for the hot, humid summer heatwave that’s been hitting New York City.

The Travel Almanac
We’re spending our Sunday brunch dipping into the third issue of the Travel Almanac, a Berlin-based indie magazine that’s a beauty of design and paper.
German actor Udo Kier is pictured on the cover. The issue has interviews about travel with novelist Jay McInerny, fashion designer Rick Owens and guitarist Johnny Marr of the 1980s UK band the Smiths.
There’s also a section of diary-like impressions of 12 hotels around the world, including the awesome and unexpected Swissotel in Osaka, Japan, where we stayed a few years ago while on a trip to Kansai.
