We recently took a taxi up the Manhattan’s West Side Highway from SoHo to Chelsea, where we were headed for an afternoon of art gallery visits. We shot  the whole ride from the back seat of our cab. Along the way you spot some recent A-list architecture, such as the Standard Hotel above the High Line Park in the Meatpacking District and the pair of glassy luxury condos at 173 Perry by star architect (“starchitect”) Peter Eisenman in the West Village, as well as the massive Chelsea Market building. You can also catch glimpses of the Hudson River, which runs alongside the highway. Check it.
